I absolutely adore this place. From the moment I first visited, I was hooked. Normally, I don't frequent the same coffee shop too often because there are so many in Chicago to try out, but this one has captured my heart. I adore the decor, music, and excellent customer service. My favorite drink is the turmeric ginger latte.
An extremely elegant, organic, pure, delicious, SMART cafe located at the intersection of Leland and Lincoln! Try: hazelnut truffle blended, breakfast burrito, or the feta kale açma (where did it go?? . The staff knows their craft so well they shouldbe making BARISTAS, not drinks. Top notch cafe that is worth a visit or two (or three, or everyday .
I?ve been to Oromo Cafe a few times before and enjoyed it each time. The staff really knows their stuff, they?re knowledgeable and accommodating. I ordered their house coffee, the Mexican Chiapas blend. It's very good in fact I commented a few times to myfriend how good it was that unbeknownst to me she bought me a bag to take home. Very nice touch and much appreciated. They havehomemade nut milks and gluten free sweets. I will definitely go back and try something new.
I ordered the pistachio rose latte and it looked very cute and tasted very good. I love this cafe! My husband and I decided to stop in on a whim and had a great time. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. This cafe will definitely be on my list of places to visit whenever I come back to town. It's a shame we don't have cafes this nice back at home.
