Hankered after a KFC, nit having had one for some time. Tried the drive in and felt pressured to give the order as we drive up trying to see what dishes were on offer. The last time we had one, a sauce was included. So I was surprised to see nothing was mentioned when ordering. £20 later (for two with drink) I simply couldn’t eat mine. The chips were in a tiny bag and tasted of old oil. The chicken also tasted greasy, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. So shocked at how much this chain has gone down hill. Seriously, go to the Pass van or the Pass restaurant in town for amazing burgers. Wish I could say something positive about the experience, but I’m struggling.
Requested food via Deliveroo. Promised within 45 min. 2 hours later, with our order being pushed back every 5 mins, still no food. No answer from KFC, Deliveroo Chat also tried to establish contact with them and no response. Absolutely awful service. Unreliable, and to ignore customers trying to find out what is going on is just not acceptable.
This is the worst meal I have ever had from a fast food chain. All of our fries and chicken were cold, the sodas were flat, and the gravy was cold, watery, and tasteless. For one of the most expensive fast food places around, I was expecting much more for the £20 we spent for two people.
