The beds were very comfortable and clean. Carpet shows that it is wear, and bathtub had a rust spot around the drain. But bathroom and bedroom felt clean. Easy to use controls on the AC/heat unit window. Breakfast (Kids ate for free) was pretty good; Perpetrator ticks a little too dry. But we were grateful that the children could wake up immediately. We also loved the use of table games below in the restaurant/lobby. This was a fully serviceable, good, friendly hotel to have close to where we needed to go the next day. You'd stay here next time.
Best guest service experience, close to local attractions, good food, beautiful pool. Everyone on the whole staff was dedicated to customer service and did an amazing job. You have a restaurant with a bar and an amazing young lady who works at the bar every day of the week.
I was at this hotel and I can say it was excellent. My room was clean and up-to-date. You have a bar for drinks. You have a cafe for food if you don't want to have big snacks when you want it. Then, if you want to go, you can go or go to a shopping center with shops and restaurants to take care of all your needs. And the best thing is that it's right at Garden State Parkway. And last but not least, the staff is great and helps you in all your needs. Look at this.
I booked a night at this hotel for a birthday party and selected the wrong date stupid. This is my fault! I wanted to go, but I called the hotel and was relieved to hear that they canceled and reimbursed me because they were already sold out of the date I needed. I then booked another hotel in the area and there the Comfort Inn remained excellent and a great alternative! The Holiday Inn Clark still accused me for the night. I tried to call her several times (4 times). to see what was up, and every time I got the same answer: they needed to check with their office manager and would call me back. Okay, great. Except they have never called I suspect that this is so that some people will forget to go up (Horrible Customer Service #1). But I continued to call back, and the manager got Chippy with me and said I never cancelled, and they would take my money (Horrible Customer Service #2 . He literally suggested to me to deny the charge on my credit card. Basically, he said they were sold out this night, and I was not a show, despite my call to cancel. Now I have rarely had bad experiences with customer service on every company, so this is a first Lol. I've never written a 1-star rating before. But that's too much. I never had a hotel eaten my money because of a mistake in the end. The morality of this story is that you are better off spending your hard-earned money elsewhere. Holiday Inn Clark has slim business practices that simply want your money and provide terrible customer service. I'll spend another night at Holiday Inn Clark or another Holiday Inn. Hold with the big chains like Hyatt and Marriot, where I've never been treated so badly.
Great stay hotel is very clean the best beds and staff. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner good food. The bartender Cecilia is is very accommodating. The pool was very clean, a plus in this heat. Starts at the top the GM Kathy and her staff can’t do enough, thanks for the hospitality. I will be back.
