Pally's Grille - Clive

I just moved to the area and was really craving a patty melt. Based off reviews I tried this restaurant it wasn’t good. I spoke to the employee at the restaurant (didn’t give her name) a couple of times and she was awesome. Honestly, her service was the only reason why I didn’t give one star. She answered all of my questions patiently even though she was the only one working. Please give her recognition for her customer skills.Patty melt was both dry and greasy, lacking flavor, and had very little cheese. The fries look and taste like what you can get from the freezer section at your grocery store…just overly salted. However the biggest disappointment was the pasta salad. I love a good pasta salad and this was not even close. It was literally rotini pasta drowning in store bought dressing with a few bits of carrot and black olives.The service was great but the food definitely needs some work.

Great place to eat, have a drink, and friendly people. Atmosphere is upbeat fast paced but still enjoyable by yourself or with friends.

I was greeted immediately upon walking in the door. That's a nice sign. She remains friendly the entire time. I had a drink within two minutes of walking in--they have a decent selection of crafts/locals versus domestics. I went with the Citrus Surfer the first time and availed myself of their **** Mary the second time. The contents include a pickle spear, olives, and a strip of bacon. I believe they used zing zang for the mix.Kinda sticky inside and a somewhat depressing atmosphere. Also an oddity occurred--a glass mysteriously fell off a nearby table with no one sitting there and it crashed to the floor.I did not partake in the food this time; I did upload their menu as of August 2023.
