Shawarma House & Pizza - Cobourg

So glad I skipped the chains for lunch and tried this. Delicious chicken shawarma, tasty chicken, lots of vegetables and delicious sauces. Definitely come here again.

I'm reviewing this only for my meal and not the rest of my family. With that said we had take out and I ordered the new lamb curry. Fabulous!!!!! Great spices and lots of tender pieces of lamb. It came with flat bread but I was surprised no rice. It was under 11 bucks so pretty good for lamb.. I would definitely order this again.

I have never had shwarma before so I can't say whether or not it's authentic but I can tell you both times I have eaten here I have absolutely enjoyed it. Love the flavours in the medium heat chicken shwarma on a pita. Can't wait to go back

This is a family run place. The food is good to average, but it is priced below what you would expect. They sometimes run out of things and the service is spotty, but they are friendly.

This family-run "restaurant" needs some serious remodelling inside! From a cursory inspection, this run-down and tired location appears unsanitary, unkempt and coasting on past laurels.The female clerk was openly chewing either gum or some other colossal piece of something with her mouth open (like a cow) whilst taking my order. (I almost left). Then, the clerk and (what I believe to be the owner) turn their backs to me and start yelling and screaming in some foreign language. Rude - VERY!This "restaurant" has lost its way, mixing cultures. It also features pizza. Stick with what you know and specialize and don't try to be all things to all people.The food was a random mish-mash of edible product. I'm being polite here, as there was absolutely nothing of remarkable significance here. Slapped together randomly without care or process. That said, the food was adequately average.Without a serious remodelling, this place simply looks unsanitary and visually calls into question the safety of the food.
