The service at this restaurant is always excellent and the food is always delicious.

Our waitress was great! Recommended the French onion soup which was scrumptious! Got the bang bang shrimp to start and it was delicious! Followed up with salads which were generous portions. Had to get a take home box. The tavern is beautiful inside. No loud music. Great atmosphere! Highly recommended!

Quite unassuming but don 't overlook it for dinner (or probably lunch)! Friendly 's was build as a pharmacy/ice cream/soda fountain and it still has much of the original woodwork and lighting and looks to still have the original the bar and wall behind the barkeep. We came here for dinner, and that 's what we found that most do when they come to this tavern .... Eat... And it 's great food! My Italian beef was great and the portion was huge... Hubby 's pulled pork bbq was also delicious! So glad we went! Food, service, staff and atmosphere were wonderful!
