The Wild Mare - Corvallis

My wife and I enjoyed an outstanding dinner here about a week ago. The coconut shrimp appetizer and sauce were really good. And I had one of the best rib eye steaks ever. I highly recommend this steakhouse!

The scallops I had were delicious, but the portion size was quite small considering the price. My dining companions ordered the shrimp special, and they said it tasted like it was heated from a Stouffer's package. This was our second visit, and I don't think we'll be coming back for a third.

We all ordered at same time had dinner salads, server handed them out, had all of them mixed up. We were served our dinners, the server never came back to check in us until we were finished with the meal. My steak was over cooked, twice baked potato was dry . In my opinion the prices are way to high for what quality and quantity you receive. Will most likely not go back.

I was turned away for a seat for one. Isn’t as important a seat for two people! I would think my money is just as good as everybody else’s first come first serve!

Great restaurant to have a great meal and enjoy the people around you.
