A Blue Moose Grill - Darwin

We dined at A Blue Moose for the first time with a group of six. We did not have a reservation, so we had to wait at the bar for about 15 minutes until a table was ready. This establishment serves wine and beer only, so do not expect cocktails. On Saturday night, their special is prime rib which sold out by 6:45, so arrive early or be prepared to choose something else. The ribs and walleye looked like great alternatives. We all ordered the prime rib and it was fantastic. Cooked medium rare as requested, it was incredibly tender and easy to cut with a fork. The hash browns were crispy and delicious. The small garden salad was decent but nothing special. Overall, we highly recommend A Blue Moose!

I recently dined at this lakeside dive restaurant with my family for their Saturday night prime rib special. The prime rib was incredibly delicious, tender, and full of flavor. The bottled beer selection was disappointing, but the food more than made up for it. I highly recommend this place!

The food was excellent, portion sizes were generous, prices were reasonable, and the decor was pleasing.
