Shown as Co Dublin . If the Browns in Sandymount it should be Dublin 4 !! A fantastic local cafe restaurant . Everything is high value . It’s reflected in the price but dirty it . I particularly like the toasted Sandwich with good ham and cheese ! Coffee flat white is very good . Nice staff

Ordered a veggie breakfast burrito specified twice while ordering waiting quite awhile before i enquired on where the order was. It was just sitting on the counter for who knows how long before a staff member passed it to me. When i opened it it was a meat filled breakfast burrito. Staff are a joke. Avoid.

I usually love brownes but it seems to have gone really downhill. I ordered the avocado on sourdough and it was a thin spread of avocado puree on one slice of sourdough bread and another plain slice of toast. I also ordered my toddler pancakes and berries and it was a Berry compote not berries as stated and I'm nearly positive like I got there before. Very disappointing. Staff were lovely and helpful though as always!!

I never go to Brownes as I find the place to be dated and the food is bland and boring but following the recent refurbishment the place had, I was curious to see if any improvements had been made. So yes the front of the establishment has changed (no exciting improvements by the way! but it’s the same old menu, boring room and bland uninteresting food. I had the avocado on toast and there was no effort on presentation or to make interesting. Whoever cooks there is not a professional chef! Bathroom was dirty which was very unpleasant. Will not be going back.

Sunday, 7th May 2023 Its a no no go place Will not recommend to anyone that respects its own money. The supposedly cook Owen) was extremely rude, unprofessional and unfit to be in a kitchen whatsoever. Cannot cook a simple burger. Asked a simple basic well done beef burger for my 8 year old daughter and it came black burned to the table on both sides). Respectfully, got up from my seat and addressed the supposedly cook Owen and mentioned that there is a difference between well cooked and burned. Any professional would know this without hesitation and would immediately kill the topic by cooking a new burger. The supposedly cook Owen, mentioned that if he cooked the burger again he would not prevent from happening again serious ? Turned his back on me and off you go . This is exactly the type of people that make businesses go bankrupt. How is it possible that a licensed commercial establishment employs such type of individual ? Do this people actually understand that their salary is paid with Clients cash ? Will the Owners read this review and take action ? Judging by the previous reviews, I don 't think so. I personally, work in a cluster with 2500 staff will not recommend anyone to come here. Fair play to Eva Ewa Ava) that tried to solve the issue with other options but the damage was already done. Shame that one staff member compromises the effort of a whole Team.
