Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónVisited the Au Bureau on Sunday, 27. October 2019 with my father. We had a meal and drinks. I had the Carbonnade Flamande with the usual frits and my father had the flame chef with a few beers. The service was great with meals and drinks that arrive immediately. The waitress was attentive and friendly. She spoke excellent English, as my French had everything, but gone. A good meal and excellent service. The place was not too busy for a sports bar.
So happy this place serves great food and drink throughout the day watching how many are only opened strictly 12 2 (very French) menu has great selection and staff very friendly and efficient.
At the end of our day trip to Dunkirk we found all the restaurants closed except for the usual fast food outlets. Then we were directed to Au Bureau which thankfully remains open for most of the day. The waiter couldn't have been more helpful...and the selection of beers and drinks was really varied. My Comte Burger was delicious although the rest of the party were not so inspired by their choices, although we were all rather tired by this point. Well worth a visit for the English themed decor and good beer.
Visiting France while being an English-speaking Canadian can be challenging; particularly when ordering from restaurants. The staff made us feel very welcome and even provided an English version of the menu. A good selection of beers on tap and a huge selection of food. Everything...we ordered was excellent and came just as we requested. Plus it’s open all afternoon/evening so it’s great for a stop at any time of the day (most places close for the afternoon and open at 7pm again). Would highly recommend and would go back again!
Polite quick service .. food was nice and lots of it .. the vegetarian salad was a basic rocket salad but would taste better with a mixed salad .. flammekuesch with honey and cheese was really nice and lots of it too... great flavours throughout.......
