Driving to North Bend State Park on Thursday, I stopped at Dodd's Log Cabin Grill in Ellenboro, WV for lunch. I also made it a point this morning while driving home, to stop here for breakfast. Both meals were delicious and cooked to order. For breakfast, I had the skillet, which consisted of biscuits on the bottom, a layer of bacon and sausages on that, with home fries, cheese and eggs on top. Very tasty but so filling, I could only eat half! A choice of toast or a biscuit came with it. I opted for the biscuit, which was light and fluffy, and about twice the size of biscuits at fast food places. The restaurant is clean and homey with friendly, efficient service. Many regulars were there both times. Next time I'm in the area, I will be sure to stop at Dodd's Log Cabin Grill!

Friendly fast service. In our party we had 2 adults and 3 children, our food came out in a timely manner and it was all delicious. We stopped there in our travels back home to New Jersey, we were coming from our vacation from Ohio. Great Breakfast! We are traveling and pulling a travel trailer and this place had adequate parking. What a treat to find this little restaurant in Ellensboro. I had the Western Omelet and my hubby had the Rustic Skillet. Both meals were excellent and the prices were outstanding. They serve breakfast or lunch all day and the menu has a large variety of options. Our waitress Farrah was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place!
