Eating was very much overcooked, but the service was great.
We enjoyed the Shrimp Mozambique and the Trio (scallops, shrimp and mussels in a white wine sauce with angel hair pasta). The latter entree could do with some more garlic. The server/customer service was excellent (friendly and attentive).
My husband and I enjoyed our steak and shrimp dishes. Our lovely server, Vanessa, and her smiling associate were friendly and attentive. CAV's customer service was excellent.
The restaurant was not crowded in the evening. It is family-owned and operated, and they take pride in their food and service. I'm glad we decided to give it a try.
