Fast Eddie's Pit Beef - Fallston

I stopped by this restaurant while driving around with my dog, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the food arrived. Everything tasted fresh, and the French fries were delicious on their own—no ketchup needed, which I appreciated. The beef was cooked exactly to my liking and generously portioned. I'd definitely consider driving 30 minutes out of my way to return here soon!

Food is great if it's before 4pm and they actually give you your whole order. Advice, open your sealed bag to check your food and then ask for a new bag if you need to. Doordash ends up getting my money after almost every visit results in a missing meal... if you can actually get your Cheeseburger it's delicious ? EDIT To clarify after missing food, gross wet soggy fries and a variety of other issues (spanning 5+ visits I HAVE to order from Door Dash or similar BECAUSE my food is MISSING or inedible when I go to enjoy my meal at home… (yes there is a sign to check it but when the wet soggy paper bag is stapled shut its pretty difficult to tell… Just stick to lunch here, when there is proper supervision and management present.

Unfortunately, when I took a bite, all the meat came out of the bun—perhaps it needed to be sliced thinner. In my opinion, the bun doesn't hold up well to medium-rare beef; it was quite crumbly. The beef itself lacked seasoning, char, smoke, and flavor. A little salt and pepper before cooking, or a finishing salt, could have really enhanced it. I understand that many places are cautious about salt usage, but beef benefits from it to bring out the flavor. Maybe I just caught them on an off day. This was my experience! I might have had high expectations for a $10 sandwich, even though it had a decent portion of beef—around 6 ounces, perhaps a bit more. Keep doing your thing; it seems like you have a loyal following. Also, the iced tea was very weak and tasted like it had been overly watered down. Happy cooking, and keep those pits hot and smoking! P.S. The place is wheelchair accessible with a ramp.
