I had a terrible experience this morning. I ordered a caramel frappuccino without caramel drizzle, but the young man mistakenly added extra drizzle. He offered to remake it, but the new drink ended up being completely white instead of the tan color of a caramel frappuccino. He insisted that he had worked there for years and that it was the same thing. I decided to take the original drink and went to another Starbucks. When I explained what had happened, they laughed and apologized, quickly making me exactly what I had ordered in the first place. The service at the Safeway store was disappointing, and the staff had a bad attitude.
I ordered two iced teas and witnessed the barista using her bare hands to press the tea bag in the pitcher. No tools, no gloves—just her unclean hands. I didn’t mention it to my partner at the time, but he soon started feeling unwell and said the tea tasted off. I felt bad too. Aren't they trained to maintain proper hygiene? They really should be. This is a concerning way to spread germs.
Beautiful large area to order, lots of drinking cups and other shopping options. friendly baristas. no place to sit.
