Umi Steakhouse - Florence

My fiancée and I literally come here since I moved to alabama. we never had a bad experience and eating is soou good at this place.

I would normally give about five or four stars because I usually eat at a Hibachi grill, but tonight I ate in the playroom and ordered my food.

I came out of town. in the dining room not at the grill. huge servier sizes, friendly staff and cheap. I had the Sushi Bowbox. me.

We really enjoyed our meal here. Our chef was impressive, he's been juggling since he was a kid and raised by clowns. So he really put on a performance. The food was amazing! The sushi was a little on the small side, but it was very good. Worth stopping here! Great service. Clean. Beautiful restaurant inside. The staff are super kind. The food was delicious. I tried it for the 1st time a few months ago and knew that I wanted to take my Daddy there to eat. We went this past Sat 7/4/22 I asked our waitress what she would suggest since we didn't know much about the menu and she very patiently explained everything we needed to know to make a decision I ordered the Chicken Hibachi Lunch plate for $12.49 and Daddy ordered Steak Hibachi Lunch plate for $14.99 they both came with a small salad and soup. The dressing they make in house was very good and our meals were delicious. I ate as much as I could and brought the rest home and ate the rest for dinner. I wish I lived closer because I have been craving it every day we loved our food and our waitress! She was so friendly and attentive. We didn't pay attention to the menu and were so surprised that we didn't have a high bill. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Loved it!
