Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe ate at Bespoke Harvest on a Saturday night at the end of July and it was busy! It was a dark and rainy night, but cosy inside and full of happy diners feasting on local produce. The service was perfect, informative with being intrusive and absolutely professional. We ate fish from Apollo Bay, Timboon feta, lamb from Glen Aire and kiwi fruit from the bespoke garden. Everything was fresh, delicious and beautifully put together. They have a truly great local wine list. Bespoke Harvedt is worth the trip, but stay down, Forrest is a great spot for biking and walking and doing nothing, as well as eating. A must visit!
A lovely spot to spend an evening enjoying local produce and drinks The service is friendly and non pretentious, reminding you why you got away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Each dish was brought to us with a little background of where the ingredients have come from and how they have been prepared. Such a nice way to enjoy food that is locally produced and in season, and used in a variety of ways. You can tell every dish is prepared with pride and joy, and adds a little more to complete the visit to the area. Thanks for the lovely evening and making our trip to Otway a memorable one
Loved our dinner at Bespoke. The service was great and we really enjoyed sampling the delicious local produce. So much so that we went to buy some of the yummy boysenberry gin we sampled at a local farm the next day! So nice to eat a delicious dinner where the food miles are really low and the food is simple yet wholesome. A definite try if you're in this area.
We recently had a very pleasant lunch at this restaurant, with flax seed crisps that were just fantastic, the ambiance was great but unfortunately the lemon desert was not only very ordinary but was served in a shared bowl for two people, apart from the health consideration it was just not a nice look or feel, everybody at the table felt the same way, please serve them in individual ramekins.Otherwise worth a visit.
The matradee was the owner who had a wonderful personal touch. Knew my husband's name on arrival and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant is attached to Forrest Guesthouse which was comfortable and full of eclectic appointments that added to the ambiance. Rooms had no television or radio so bring a book if you intend have a bit of stay. The area of Forrest is beautiful with Lake Victoria and the West Barwon Reservoir nearby. June was cold so could not walk but the area is truly beautiful and will come back to explore more. The degustation meanu at the Bespoke Harvest was excellent and very imaginative as they work with seasonal ingredients that are locally produced. A relaxed and welcoming restaurant. The waiters take through each dish with enthusiasm that tells a story. Overall very enjoyable experience.
