Rocket Taco - Freeland

Perfect night on the patio with friends at Rocket Taco. Loved the watermelon margarita, guacamole chips, and chicken tacos. This is the best new spot on Whidbey! We will be sure to stop here anytime we are on the island. Can't wait for our next visit to Rocket Taco.

Such a fun place to work! The kitchen is sparkling and new. The view from the big kitchen window looks out on the patio dinning area and fire pit that is being built. The restaurant ambience is beautiful. This little house across from Payless in Freeland has been Many businesses over the years. Rocket Taco is here to stay! Thank you owners Jill and Steve Rosten! The food-Fresh, smokey, charred, creamy, perfectly balanced with tartness, sweetness, salt, spices and herbs. Hand made tortillas daily. All high quality ingredients and made from scratch. I can't comment on a specific menu item yet as I get to taste them all. So far all tastes have all been 5�

My first visit to the island yesterday and we had lunch at Rocket Taco. Oh. So. Good! I had the special for the day, the tofu taco that had this amazing yummy sweet and tangy sauce on it. Seriously the best tacos i've ever had. Highly recommended! �Can't wait to come back.

Love this place! Wish there was one on the north end of the island. I love the fish quesadillas.
