Jameson Tavern - Freeport

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and everyone we interacted with was absolutely lovely. We ordered the baked lobster and the baked seafood medley, and both were delicious. The lobster was perfectly cooked, and the scallops were outstanding. However, I might hesitate to order the baked lobster again because the stuffing somewhat overshadowed the exceptional quality of the lobster itself. Overall, it was fantastic, and I'm glad I gave it a try! The side of potatoes was great, but I found the broccoli to be overcooked. Also, the portion size of the baked seafood medley was a little on the small side!

Amazing seafood! We started with the scallops appetizer, which was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. (Just look at the empty plate! It's actually a great value, as you get a substantial portion for an appetizer.) Then we had the haddock platter and sandwich, both of which were excellent—tender, fresh, and full of flavor. Even the coleslaw was refreshingly crunchy and fresh. We enjoyed our meal outdoors on a beautiful day. I highly recommend this place!

This charming restaurant offers delightful food and a friendly atmosphere all in one place. You can opt for indoor or outdoor dining, and there's a vast menu to choose from. I recommend starting with the lobster cocktail! Plus, there's free parking available. It's a perfect spot to enjoy a meal or drinks before or after shopping at LL Bean next door.

Had a very good lunch at Jameson Tavern. We got seated quickly. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was good. I had the crab melt and we shared a lobster cocktail. Although none of us ordered it, we loved that they had a ?lazy lobster? on the menu where they take all the meat out for you!

Absolutely amazing experience. Hands down the best food, service, atmosphere we have ever experienced in any restaurant. KK and the rest of the staff were funny, prompt and really made the atmosphere great. Has itself to the cook(s) that a meddrainic chicken unlike any we ever had, and muscles that knock your sucks off delicious! We live two hours away, but we'll be back! Go on!
