Her French onion soup had a nice, deep taste to him and her risotto was perfectly creamy without being mushy. I could have eaten a whole pot! The pig steak and the salmon and spinach Wellington were perfect. Both were delicate and succulent and at the perfect level of skill. We also tried their escargot from their regular menu and I think we died and went to heaven after the first bite. Our waiter Vincent was so personal and gave us great insights into the food and the restaurant itself. Note: Join your Facebook group to see what they have for weekly specials. We are already planning our next visit!
Came here for Arizona Restaurant Week. The restaurant is at the end of a strip-mall. The restaurant looked perfect for a gastropub. For the first course I got the French onion soup with cheese toast. That was the worst French onion soup I had in my life. Not much onions. The onions were not caramelized. The soup base tasted very light. The cheese toast that came with it was deliciously melted with a beautifully roasted bread with a beautiful layer of cheese. The next course was the salmon and Spinat Wellington. The salmon had no taste. The spinach looked like he had been added to the salmon. I expected that the spinach sauteed with other ingredients to give the spinach and salmon taste. Lemon Hollandaise came with me, but it had no impact to cut the pals of the plate. The Puff bakery that was wound up the salmon and spinach was nicely baked, which led me to the court being delicious, but I was wrong. The last dish was the chocolate soaps. It was basically what other restaurants call their lava cake. It wasn't a souffle at all. The cake structure was wrong. It was good. The centre was surrounded by a chocolate cake structure. The servicemen were really nice, but not so good. They forgot to bring utensils including napkins to the table. They would take the utensils from one course and forget to bring utensils for the next course. It seemed that all tables around us only get drinks and appetizers. No one seemed to order from the menu of Arizona Restaurant Week. Your appetizer menu looked really good.
It's too expensive. You have a great menu, which is why we decided to go. Unfortunately, they are superfluous with the lack of talent in the kitchen. The waiters and managers were very nice, but clearly very new. It was a Tuesday, but above all the cooks couldn't cook the food properly. A burned soufflé is never a good look.
Unfortunately, the kitchen and the front service are not well connected. Not worth one of the ’s we have spent.
We had the restaurant week menu and we LOVED it!! The food was amazing!! Our server checked on us often and made sure that we felt well taken care of. This is a hidden gem in Gilbert that you have to try. PS the hand cut fires are THE BOMB!!
