Hazuki Sushi Cuisine - Glen Cove

We've been trying to branch out and try new local restaurants so we picked this place. We were impressed with the selection of items on their menu. We ordered 2 specialty rolls and 2 regular rolls plus 3 salads. Mine was the 3 in 1 specialty roll which was good but I struggled eating the rolls with the large pieces of fried krab on top. One of us got a spicy salmon roll that had a type of tuna on top and he gave it a 3. My husband got CA roll and salmon avocado rolls and they were the tiniest I've ever seen in a restaurant but the salmon was very fresh and good. I'm used to a little more seafood, rice and some seasoning around the edge. The salads had the largest chunks of iceberg lettuce I've ever seen! They were very generous with those huge chunks of lettuce. Their dressing was good but a little too sweet, I wished I could taste more ginger or soy.

My favorite Hazuki sushi entree increased in price from $29.95 to $47.95 while all other items increased by only $1.00 or $2.00. I was in complete shock when I got the bill for my 06/03/2023 takeout order. Totally disappointed.

I think I found my new favorite spot. The staff was so great, atmosphere so calm. Nobody rushing you. Food just amazing. It was a great pleasure to be in place like that. And you can find unique sushi here. So I recommended this place like 200%.Food: 5/5

Have ordered the sushi and sashimi combo for 2 as takeout multiple times and we love it! It comes with plenty of food and is reasonably priced. The sushi/sashimi is fresh and presented well even in the to go container. Definitely one of our go to spots in Glen Cove area for sushi.

Eh not the greatest sushi. I prefer kotobuki or toku over this place to be honest. The rolls are ok
