Guanajuato - Glencoe

Honestly, my mistake was to come back to dinner last night. Last time we praised never to come back, but that was on the way to a theater where we saw a show last night, so we had another attempt. My enchiladas were so incredibly salty, it was basically unusable. And when I mentioned this to our waiter, he didn't seem to care much. Their salsa has zero taste, and the chips always taste cold, and only shy of stale. And their post-pandemic prices do not depend on their product quality or quantity. This place was great before! Last time I eat there... this time I PROMISE!

Got our order wrong at first. 4 out of 5 were mixed up. Seems to happen too often here, but we try to give them a chance to improve. The food if correct is tasty and generally good quality Though prices have gone up a lot. Unfortunately, they repeatedly make you wait for the tortillas and sides while the entrees are getting cold. I really don’t know why they can’t be delivered together or right after. Waiting 5 minutes is not OK. Though the servers and other wait staff are nice enough, they are not efficient. Maybe it’s the kitchen. I don’t know. But it will be awhile before I try again.

We tried Guanajuato for the first time tonight. Everything was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the skirt steak. Our waiter was good but not attentive. We asked for extra salsa, to have our waters refilled etc. but our waiter never returned.
