We recently ate for the Valentine’s Dinner and the food, atmosphere , and music was fabulous!!!
Decent enough if you don't want to go anywhere else. The food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience was decent at best.I wasn't told of an upcharge when I asked for a substitution (they removed that charge), wasn't warned of a very hot plate, and the fountain drinks tasted of poor quality. It just felt like everything was there to be there, but not necessarily there to be good by comparison of other places.I doubt I'll be back anytime soon.Though, they do have fun signage.
Can't give 0 stars because this place is closed. It's now Brown Street Mexican Restaurant. So much for trash fries. HOWEVER I am glad I ate here today. Had lunch special 12. Cheese and onion enchilada, 1 taco, beans and rice. HOT DAMN WAS IT GOOD! The taco meat had a bacon flavor to it. Very lean ground beef possibly cooked in bacon grease/fat. Consider that idea stolen. Now let me tell you about the fried ice cream. I'm not one to order dessert at lunch but it was 103 degrees out and I needed something cool. It wasn't oatmeal nor was it corn flakes on the ice cream, it was in a pastry puff type cocoon, with strawberry jam. Incredible. Loved it. I give this place 10/5 stars, would eat here again! Loved the Mexican food--and it was probably 100 times better than the trash fries I was looking for.
The chicken salad sandwich is one of my favorites for lunch. Also, the old fashion hamburger is very good.
