Cafe Leffe - Grenoble

2 days in grenoble, discovered this place twice for lunch. the gamba’s they serve the greatest and tasty. definitiw popular. ravioli and entrecote also very good. also the beer is great.

We came just for the beers and world cup. Nice environment and service was good. No comment on the food and we did not take any.

So for French standards, I expect my meat to be juicy even if I ask 'a point ' in France it means 'just right ' but this one, was like a shoe sole. So no I won 't plan to come back to this place.

As I do not completely speak and read any French the menu game as I call it can be a Russian roulette sometimes. In this case I know the word for beef and chose that off the menu. It was absolutely delicious. The location is...right in the city center and is great to sit on the patio and enjoy the ambiance of this wonderful little city.

We only intended to come here for drinks with friends but ended up staying for food. We tried the local specialty of raviolini and they were delicious. They are spinach and cheese mini raviolis with a creamy, rich sauce. The portions were generous too. Our...waitress had a very busy area but still managed to find the time to share a smile and joke with us. She also put up with our big dog and his messy water bowl! We were seated upstairs and it was very hot but once the owner opened the windows, it became much more comfortable.
