Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe booked a table on email (which was confirmed on email) but was told on arrival that they don’t take reservations. The service here is below fair standard, which is a shame because the food is better than any of the other 2 pubs in the city. Great feature: No dogs inside!
Classic Welsh country inn vibes and food. Well prepared meal and good range of local food options. Sensibly priced. Service OK.
Visited tonight, amazing chicken, ham and leek pie!! Bar staff could of been abit more friendly but overall good experience!!
Fabulous food in a warm and cosy pub, with the friendliest staff around. The lamb tagine and braised steak in Welsh whisky are both legendary, but nothing we’ve had here has ever been a disappointment. There are also vegetarian and vegan options too, and a really good pudding menu.
We only phoned the night before and were lucky that rooms were available, the proprietor was very helpful and we checked in as planned. The evening service was extremely well subscribed and although a little surprised initially, we weren't after we'd ate as the food was excellent. The lamb shank, scampi and chicken, leek and ham pie can all be recommended along with the breakfast if you're thinking of staying over. The village is very picturesque so, all in all, well worth a trip and staying /eating at the Tanronnen Inn.
