The Gun Room At Plas Dinas - Gwynedd

My partner and I celebrated a birthday with a dinner for two at this restaurant. We had a fantastic experience. The staff were attentive but not overbearing, and the food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious.

Lovely experience. The pre dinner cocktail was presented beautifully. The dinner itself was delicious three chosen courses, with additional surprise courses in between. All in a beautiful location, with friendly staff.

Food was exceptional, staff very friendly, but the wait between courses was far too long. We had empty glasses in front of us in the lounge and nobody asked if we wanted a refill and this was before we went through for the meal. And i have never been asked what dessert i want when ordering starter and main before.

Lovely food but experience dissapointing. Unclered tables and messy floors in toilet not what you expect from a 5* establishment. Had a Gunroom experience voucher as a birthday gift but unfortunately due to number of residents we were not seated in the Gunroom.

Unfortunately the atmosphere was a little flat and unwelcoming. However the food saved the night, even with part of our main meal arriving late.
