Popocatepetl The Mexican Haarlem

Na een slechte ervaring bij een ander restaurant (waar we niet hebben gegeten), kwamen we terecht bij dit Mexicaanse restaurant. De bediening was erg vriendelijk, de tijd tussen de gangen was perfect en er hing een fijne sfeer. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en hebben daarna nog gezellig nagezeten. Kortom, het was een succesvolle avond uit.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel! Heerlijke gegeten, de inrichting is ook erg stoer en sfeervol. We komen zeker nog een keer terug!

We tried popo again (after a few years) and I'm so glad we made it! we really enjoyed the enchiladas; we had the pollen and the bark meat. perfectly cheesy inside, delicious filling combo made of meat and veg, and sauce was also good. nice part of my opinion. we share a carafe frozen limette margarita (good deal) and I will say there could be an improvement of the frozen “Rita, not as smooth as I like, but it did the work! Some critics mentioned that there is more texmex and that I would say that makes it good! (honestly, it is on the franse, I live in tx for almost 30 we're coming back!

First of all, the interior design and atmosphere is 10/10 the best looking place I have ever been to. I had a virgin caipirinha, a vegetarian burrito and churros. The caipirinha had a perfect balance between spiciness, sourness and sweetness. The consistency of the churros and the flavour of the chocolate dip was also perfect. I personally prefer burritos where the rice, sauce and salad are put inside it, here they were put in little plates which makes the burrito a little less flavorful but it had fresh cilantro. Service is a little slow but kind.

We had a very pleasant experience here. really good food, nice drinks and a great location. the interieur is also really cool. in any case a place where they can go for some food and drinks or cocktails. we had the Mexican burgers with sweet potatoes, the famous ripening, the vegetarian nachos and the popo salat and we all loved him! They will definitely get one of their delicious limonade! They are beautiful and made with love! the prices are reasonable. in any case worth a try.
