La Chartreuse - Halen

One of the waiters was not wearing a mask and two types of tapas were missing from the menu. As a result, the main dish we ordered was disappointing. It was supposed to be made with fennel cream, charred leeks, and white wine, but none of these ingredients were included. Instead, it was a mix of raw red peppers and crawfish, likely cooked in red wine. The dish lacked spice and the flavor was mediocre. We felt that it was not worth the 34 euros we paid for it. Similarly, the meatballs with tomato sauce that my partner ordered were also lacking in flavor. Despite the beautiful location, we were very disappointed with our dining experience.

We had a delicious meal at a lovely restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive.
