I don't understand why this place is so underrated, as there are usually very few people there when we visit. The food is of excellent quality and the portion sizes justify the prices. I have had the best Indo-Chinese food here, especially the chilli chicken which is amazing. My husband was pleased to find Old Monk rum on the drinks menu. Overall, our experiences have always been perfect. I wish there was a branch of Delhi Spice in Ipswich too. Keep up the great work!
We have been to see Ali the owner so many times, and can not fault the food, one one the best Indian restaurants in Harrow, you will not be sorry.
We have been coming to this restaurant for years because the food is always fantastic and the service is excellent. We go out of our way just to dine here.
Firstly I would like to point out I brought a wowcher in June and was unable to book until the last day as they never picked up their phone. I called for a final time for 19 and 20 sept as the voucher was to run out and finally someone managed to use their hand and legs and pick up the phone. Only for the rude gentleman (and I use the term gentleman lightly here) to mock me and say why would we take your voucher when it would be expired and I explain to him again I had left messages via their internet site and numerous attempts were made by a phone. I asked to speak to a manager to which he hung up. I persistently called them back up and demanded I speak to someone more senior but again kept hanging up. After calling 6 times they eventually put me through to Ali who I explained what had happened and that I wasn't particularly very happy at his unhelpful member of staff. Who said that he would honour the voucher until Sunday so we booked for Sunday. Two days later I receive a voicemail that they are cancelling my booking due to being rude to the staff. I honestly can't believe India spice they are an absolute joke!!! Yes conversations did get heated but no more than a frustrated tone of voice and my persistence to talk to someone more senior may I suggest to India spice you perhaps employ someone 1) who speaks clear English 2) and has a professional demeanour. Im glad they cancelled my booking. After looking at reviews they probably done me a favour!
My family and I have been going to India spice regularly for many years. The food is always good and the restaurant has very friendly service. Worth a visit. Takeaways are good too.
