Waldhorn - Heidelberg

The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. The food is excellent and much better than most places directly in the city. The prices will not break the bank either. Great place to stop at if you explore outside the city of Heidelberg. I would recommend the fitness Salat and the Saurbraten . In the fall and winter they have the best pumpkin soup around! For the people who like the outdoors you can enjoy the outside views from their quaint terrace. They also have a Rib Fest throughout the year which features American style ribs, which I also recommend.
