I don't usually write bad reviews, but I don't want other vegans to go there and be disappointed. we went there because the description here on happycow (sojaprotein in Umami-Bouillon and Yuba-Leder etc.) sound very interesting and we want to try. but they don't. they have a vegan main Chickpea steak that is not a steak, but a fried patty and not that unlike vegan patties we can buy in our super markets at home. the three-fold baked kartoffels were a nice grasp for frits/chips didn't get me wrong. the food was delicious, but for this price I would have expected a little more elaborate. the service was not at all about what vegan means and generally not as friendly and professional as at other places in hvar (e.g. dalmatino etc. I have still eaten the starter (brot in the hand) when the waiter came to take the teller away. they came to check on other guests, but they held interaction with us for a minimum (may be because the vegan food or lack of alcoholic drinks was cheap for them). They also never asked if everything is in order or how it is/what is eating. very disappointing experience, especially for such a beautiful place as hvar, known for its great hospitality.
I came to this restaurant with my friend to have fish. The vegan option was not very good, with bland chickpeas, but the vegetables were really delicious.

I visited this restaurant with my boyfriend, who eats fish. The vegan option was not very impressive, with a tasteless chickpea patty, but the vegetables were really delicious.
