Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI'm sure people flock here for the atmosphere and nice outdoor seating in a good area. I was less than impressed with the food. I had ceviche and a fennel salad. Both dishes didn't have the right salt/acidity level. Also, quite pricey for what you get.
Arrived shortly after breakfast service ended. The avocado salad with Mediterranean sea bass was excellent. Paired up nicely with some Turkish Sauvignon Black
I had high expectations for this Turkish fusion restaurant, given its Bib Gourmand rating. However, I must say I left feeling rather disappointed. Ambience: The atmosphere was okay, the rooms felt quite varied and not cohesive. Cleanliness: The washroom was not clean, and it lacked soap early in the evening shift. Service: The service was not as attentive as I had hoped. Our food took a long time to arrive, with a 40 minute gap between courses in an almost empty restaurant. Wine selection: Unfortunately, the wine was far from impressive. The three open white wines we tried were of supermarket quality, straight from the window cleaner shelf, with a significant markup a €3 5 bottle was served for €5 6 a glass. Food: The food was a letdown as well. The bread was stale, the puff pastry seemed like a cheap frozen buy in, and the salad was bland and not fresh. The main dish, an undercooked chicken, was simply a pile of sadness. I struggle to understand how this restaurant earned a Bib Gourmand rating. With only four bookings on a Saturday night, I suspect most patrons are tourists misled by the Michelin Guide rating. In conclusion, this was a massively overpriced and underwhelming experience. I would not recommend it.
Overall very good food in the antique district. Burrata was delicious, as was the sea bass salad. Shrimp pasta was great, meatballs were merely ok. The food took forever to get out, however. It became a 2hr meal unnecessarily. Ambiance was decent, if not a but cramped.
Cute restaurant outside of the touristy boulevards and their touts. Has a nice little terrace in a backstreet and spread out in various small rooms. Really excellent food (spinach/beetroot/pear/sheep cheese salad, oignon soup, ceviche, hamburger, chocolate fudge cake). Hospitality was perfect. Service experience level was uneven but people have to learn and kindness permeates. Our best experience so far in Istanbul.
