Excellent service, staff with disarming kindness, welcoming and extremely helpful. Tasty dishes, rich menu and the right time to wait for the order. Very nice location, the tables in the square with the gazebos are lovely, it recreates harmony and guarantees the right space between the tables. Let me start by saying that we have been coming to Sperlonga and Itri for 35 years and did not know this place, not even by its previous name. We found ourselves on a busy Saturday evening in August here for the first time and were so impressed that we returned twice more. I 'm writing to you again from the restaurant table (calling it a pub is absolutely an understatement . The shrimp tartare with burrata is divine. For the first courses we tasted homemade lasagna with Itrana sausage, fish cannelloni according to Alfio (congratulations again to the chef! and I must say delicious the goodies with mussels, cherry tomatoes and basil (off the menu . A spectacular mussel and clam soutè like I haven 't tasted in a long time. For an appetizer, a platter of fresh and very good cured meats. The fried calamari and mixed ones were really good, very light frying. The Speck and Provola supplì and the Arancini, Mortadella and pistachio were very good and well fried. Excellent choice of wines (even if we only drank a Pecorino by the glass . The fresh, homemade desserts, the excellent crumbled bread and the good tiramisu without being too drowned in coffee. The location is very nice in the square in front of the Itri Town Hall, closed to cars, it is perfect for children to play. We have always found a seat and have always been served with kindness, professionalism and promptness (thanks Andrea! . The lights on the tables are very nice and the atmosphere, despite being outdoors, is very private and I would say almost romantic with these lights! In short, we returned twice more in 4 days, what more can I say? The prices are normal, absolutely consistent with what is offered. PS: we came in August 2022. PPS: very clean bathroom.
