Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI visited the restaurant at the JC location for a shake, but was ultimately disappointed with my experience. After spending $15, the burnt hotdogs we received were not worth it. The hotdogs and chili both tasted burnt, with remnants of burnt food throughout. I was so dissatisfied with the food that I may only stick to ordering shakes if I ever decide to return. I am giving this place 2 stars solely because of the shake.
I recommend not going there on an empty stomach because they give you very small portions. The meal consisted of three small chicken strips, 4-5 cheddar cheese bites, and five hush puppies, hardly worth the $10 I spent.
I have visited this restaurant many times and can confirm that it truly captures the taste of a cookout, not the restaurant type but a family gathering with a fired up grill for lunch. The food is always delicious and the shakes are fantastic. The hamburgers are great, although they can be a bit heavy on the sauce, which I personally enjoy. The must-have shake on the menu is the Banana fudge, or the Egg Nog flavor in December. The staff are also very friendly and eager to help, although some nights they seem to be short-staffed. Nevertheless, they manage to make it work. Overall, this restaurant is amazing and I highly recommend it.
Wasn't horrible for 1230am. Got part of the order wrong. Hush puppies instead of cheddar bites. Bacon wrap instead of bacon ranch wrap. Almost forgot to give us the corn dogs that were ordered. They were slammed. They were still very friendly. Too busy to go in to complain.
If I could give them a zero I would have. We went to Cook Out for lunch today. We ordered chicken tenders and Cajun fries. The chicken tenders were overcooked and rubbery and the Cajun seasoning put on the fries was so insanely thick and there was so much salt added that this was unedible. At no point should there be this much seasoning literally dumped on anything. I literally picked up a french fry and had to dump a pile off before I could even attempt to taste it. No sauce was offered and when I asked for some they were so stingy with it that it was ridiculous. Completely disgusting. Never going back. I should have just gone to Wendy's.
