Dressed with lots of gravy is the only way to go. Today I tried the roast beef at Check In Check Out. Pretty solid flavor, but should have got the 9'. They were pretty tight with the roast beef, so I was still a little hungry after eating the 6'. Read beans and rice needed salt, but not too bad. Overall, not the best roast beef I've had, but a solid place if you're closer to the airport.
From a Local Point OF VIEW. Oyster po boy is off the chain, don't mention the seafood platter. Oysters were fried to perfection my wife doesn't care for oysters but she was eating dem rascals off my plate, I own a transportation service and clients always ask about places to eat although they are going to and from the airport I will always mention Check in check out on Veterans in Kenner. MiMi and the crew are on point.
Unbelievable!. Shrimp Poboy is AWESOME! My wife doesn't even like them, but she LOVED this one. Red beans and rice were fantastic as well. Looks like a dive, but I guarantee you will love the food (usually the case, right? . I will definitely go back next time we're in N'awlins!
If your near the New Orleans Airport, and need a quick snack, I believe these are the best Po Boys in town. Their shrimp Po Boys are always on point, usually as much on the Po Boy as there is spilling out. Always good!
Great sandwiches.
