Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI'm sushi OBSESSED and this place is hands down incredible. Amazing quality, adorable environment and run by the sweetest couple. This place deserves better recognition, and you will not regret going. Highly recommend ordering their dynamite lunch bento box. So much food for such a cheap price.
I have come here many times and never posted a review because I'm selfish and want people not to start invading this place. It's situated close to St Lawrence college and in general I rarely see people from there (they usually go to the subway nearby). Overall very good food. Very good food to price ratio. I have tried other places in Kingston at the insistence of my friends that reside in Kingston. This place is just as good, cheaper and you generally get more food. To summarize Pros: Cheaper, more food, tasty, great for student on a budget Cons: They seem to have one cook as it's a mom and pop place so food might come out slow if there's a lot of people inside. Which might become most people's issue with this place.
Stopped in to pick up some dinner and will definitely be back! Great little place that appears to be a two person show. Didn't seem to impact service though. I ordered and was out the door in 15min. I've been to a lot of sushi places in Kingston and this place can hold its own. I had the red dragon roll and unagi sushi. This was the best unagi I've had. Thicker slices of BBQ eel with a delicious sauce. The dragon roll was also very tasty and the pieces were two-biters! Ask for a shot of the spicy sauce, you won't regret it.
Got the red dragon roll as others suggested in the comments and 8 pieces salmon sushi and was not disappointed. Ordered at the restaurant at lunch time, and order was made fresh right away. Wait only took 5 minutes. There was no seating inside due to covid. Overall red dragon roll was very delicious and the rice was even a bit warm due to the tempura shrimp on the inside. Friend got the salmon sushi and said the ratio of rice to fish was really good. Also said the red dragon roll was very legit. On the pricier side; I think the full red dragon roll and 8 piece salmon sushi was $12.99 was each pre tax was under $30 for both things with tax. But quality was great so you're paying for that.
A fan of the dongatsu special/lunch bento pork cutlet) and the red dragon roll! The price range is fair. The food is really good. And it 's really close to West Campus. :
