Oyster Bay Cafe - Ladysmith

The cafe is only open during the summer but it is well worth visiting. In addition to breakfast and lunch every day, there are many special events--music, dinners every other week. The young folks who work here are very nice and they make great items for for breakfast and lunch. Dining is available both inside and outside. A great place.

We had been on a two hour hike in the nearby Stocking Creek Park and wanted an uncomplicated lunch. Great sandwiches, wraps and salads with fantastic chowder. Good cheerful service, but if busy be prepared to wait a while--ten minutes or so. Prices are a bit on the high side but sandwiches are large, fresh and good. On the same dock are facilities for visiting sail and motor boats as well as a delightful little maritime museum.Busier on weekend with visiting boaters from BC and US. Open for breakfasts and , I gather occasional evening events in summer.

My lunch date and I had a wonderful lunch and super service! I'm coming back to try the Scallop Buternut Squash Salad ????

What a delight. Friendly staff. Great food. Excellent view. Vegan options. What a gem. We will come here every time we visit the island.

Beautiful day on the Marina dock. I had the 3 Cheese Grilled Cheese with Tomatoes and Grilled Onions. Fantastic! Best Grilled Cheese ever!
