Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThis restaurant is a stunning spot for dinner with a breathtaking view. They even have their own garden where they grow fresh herbs and vegetables. The food we enjoyed was absolutely delicious. While the main menu may require checking with the staff for vegan options, the vegan desserts are clearly marked. We tried the vegan pasta and vegan risotto, both of which came with a side of grated vegan cheese, a thoughtful touch!
This restaurant is pricey with small portion sizes. Despite claiming to be mainly vegetarian, their vegetarian dishes are all heavy on cream, egg, cheese, or other non-vegan ingredients. While it may appeal to vegetarians looking for a slightly upscale dining experience, vegans should steer clear.
A beautiful place for dinner. The view is breathtaking. They also have their own small garden where they grow their herbs and vegetables. The food we had was really delicious. From the main menu, you need to ask the serving staff what is/can be adjusted to be vegan, which is quite annoying (and there is a simple solution). However, vegan desserts are clearly highlighted! We went for vegan pasta and vegan risotto, both dishes came with a small pot of grated vegan cheese that I thought was a nice touch!
The ambience was great as it is in the golf club. Green everywhere. They grow some of the herbs and vegetables, making it organic and natural. I ordered TFF Organic Spinach Salad and they served it with Feta cheese. When they found out I was vegan, they offered a new one. Beautiful gesture from the owner! I like the idea of using used vodka bottles as glasses for their smoothies and drinks: P.S. They used basil spinach on their TFF salad, which is new to me. It felt like I was eating a leaf of a hedge. So make sure to check before ordering. Their operating hours were changed daily to 4PM, 6PM-10PM and closed on Mondays.
The Fat Frog restaurant provided us with tasty food options for our family, including omnivores, vegans, and vegetarians. The staff was friendly, and the owner even stopped by to offer recommendations for other places to visit in the area. We will definitely return if we come back to Langkawi!
