Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe waited over an hour for mediocre food. The entrees were very expensive and the side dishes were $15-20 each. The ambience was fine. This place is highly overpriced. Do not waste your money.
Saturday night and not many people in the restaurant. Uncle Jack’s Tavern is a surprisingly upscale bar grille. A varied and appealing menu with entre prices averaging around $20. (There's a $42 seafood platter, too) Despite not being crowded, there was an hour wait for food in the main dining room as priority went to a private group event. The servers were constantly apologizing and we almost left. When the food (fresh and hot) was finally delivered to the tables, the manager gave out $20/person coupons (which we used that evening) to compensate for the poor service. I doubt we'll take another chance on this place.
Our server was excellent, however the food was a bit over priced given the portion size
We've been going to Uncle Jack's since the first one opened in the area (Duluth . This is the second time we've been to Lawrenceville and this was our worst Uncle Jack's experience. I brought two college students there one of which was having a birthday/ Neither had been to Uncle Jack's before. We ordered the bacon app they didn't provide any plates when the app was delivered so we had to ask for them. Then the mains arrived we hadn't been given napkins or utensils so we had to ask for them. We ran out of drinks several times before receiving refills. One of the burgers we ordered had BBQ on it (it wasn't supposed to. Then when they mentioned desserts they didn't even mention the fact that we had a birthday (I had specified this when I made the reservation. All of these things are customer service 101. Very disappointing Uncle Jack's...
We had a great evening. Tried several different dishes but the bacon is always a fan favorite. Our server was awesome.
