Eggcellent - Lewes

Excited to try out their new dinner menu and enjoyed the salmon oscar and rockfish entrees. Anastasia was our server and was excellent.

Food was exceptional, portions were hearty, Clean and fresh, Service impeccable!

Meal was very good, didn't like the dessert as much, cake was served cold, so it lost much of it's flavor. Looking forward to them having their own pastry chef. One comment, I knocked my glass over very soon after it was served, the waitress was very understanding and assisted, but no replacement was offered as it might have been elsewhere. All in all a very good meal, we have already recommended it to friends and in fact to some diners that were outside looking at the menu and considering coming in. We will be back.

The salads were quite good but the kitchen prepared the mains while we were still eating the salad. The dishes were sent back to be served later but obviously were reheated or microwaved so that the fish was dry and overcooked when it came out.

Very fresh seafood. Nice size portions. Cream of crab soup is to die for, really a must try. Seemed like a jumbo lump in every creamy bite! Lighting was a little extreme. Dining the lights would ad a lot to the atmosphere. Waitress was attentive and informative, with good suggestions. Will definitely return!
