Applebee's Grill - Lima

Went for lunch.. Even as we(my friend and I) walked in through the door, people coming out told us, it was very cold inside and used the term freezing ..! And we chose a booth where the sun was hitting the seats. We wanted something light.. There was no luncheon menu/portions. We asked the waitress for something small. So, we decided, to order soup, French onion, which was excellent. We then looked at the menu and all entrees were too much. So, we decided to order a dish from the appetizer section.. Nachos with spicy ground beef, each. When she brought it, we both just about fell off our seats. It was huge..! And we told her that. She agreed, yes, it is . She should have told us and advised us to order one of those instead of two orders of the same and told us, we could split, as she knew, right from the beginning.. We both wanted a small dish. Instead, just because she can make more money, she kept her mouth shut.. Unacceptable..!! That 's the reason for only 2 stars. Of course, for lunch the Bill was close to $50. No beer or anything.

I hate being negative, but the food is just not that good anymore. It took 50 min to get our order, and there were maybe 30 people in there. Fries were cold on every plate. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Chicken was good, the moz sticks were great, server was busy but got us our food before 40 minutes so that was nice, the problem was the cheeseburger, Nothing but grease, pick it up grease was draining from the burger alone. Was kinda cold but it's alright even tho it's the end of September. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

It's a great place to take family. Does not have anything for young kids other than a crayon and coloring page. Little pricey but they do have specials once in a while they are worth it.
