A really honest caffe that does what it says on Sunday afternoon at the dose, we had salatstarter, a bavette steak and great chips/peats and a cream brulée. all for 19,95 euro. packed with local and French tourists and more await. the city is routinely classified as one of the most beautiful france
We had lunch here last week while visiting Lyons La Foret. We wanted to sit outside but all the tables in the shade were taken so we went into the dining room very old fashioned with a big TV on the far wall. Even...though there were not so many clients, the service was slow, albeit friendly enough. I had a goat cheese salad unfortunately the lettuce was not only wilted but apparently had been sitting in the dressing for a while because it was 'cooked. ' A bit disappointing especially since we had invited two friends for lunch. Too bad because it was well served.
Great location, but very ordinary menu. cannot honestly recommend. Ok for burgers for the kids, but chevre salad disappointing, house wine rose and red terrible
This little cafe was the only place open when we visited Lyons la Foret on a cold day in November. We had a pleasant lunch of a large ham salad for 9 euros and a huge Savoyard bruschetta. Unlike other reviewers we found the service...to be quick and efficient.
