I placed 2 orders of pollo con tajadas. First of all the chicken was not fried good and looked like it was boiled. I also added one soda and when I got home the soda was flat like it was opened already. Now let’s talk about the tajadas.... it look like they tried there best to make them as thin as possible. Definitely not worth 14 dollars.
I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The place was empty and I had high hopes for authentic Honduran food, but the food turned out to be pretty bad. The Pollo con Tajadas was especially disappointing as the chicken was grilled instead of being deep fried as it should have been. The Carne Asada Especial was priced at $18.50 and the steak was overly salty with only six small pieces served. Additionally, the Duvalin dessert was priced at $3.75 for just one, when I could have bought it for much cheaper at a Mexican market. The service was lackluster, with the waiter only coming to our table once after we had finished eating. The restaurant smelled like gas and the kitchen was very smoky. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I will not be returning. It's no surprise the restaurant was empty. As my grandpa always said, "never visit an empty restaurant."
Amazing place?? exquisite and fresh food... Good service, clean, friendly and spacious place..?
The food is excellent and the service is outstanding, I will definitely return.
When we arrived at the restaurant to pick up our order, we were surprised to find that they had not even started preparing it. The restaurant was empty and no one was wearing masks, despite multiple signs requiring them. We waited an additional 20 minutes before finally receiving our food. Upon returning home, we realized that three orders of tajadas were missing. One of the baleadas was made with a store-bought tortilla instead of the usual homemade ones. The sides and salsas were only provided with some items. The food itself was not very good. The handmade tortillas were dry and bready, the beans were gritty, and everything was oversalted. The pupusas were the only item that we enjoyed. Overall, we felt ripped off due to the poor service, missing items, and low quality of the food. We hope that the restaurant can improve and wish the owners the best as they work to enhance their offerings.
