After said, there was a page vegetarian menu in English that specified which foods were not vegan. I got Curry udon and it was very nice. I don't think there's anywhere else on the island that has a clear English vegetarian menu, so I would definitely recommend this place, despite the smell
They have a large menu for vegetarians, but they could make the Tempoura without egg. So ask if you go there!
We went there for lunch, the food was good and not pricey. That's a good option.
There are more vegetarian choices than vegan options at this restaurant (since all the tempura batter contains egg), but I enjoyed the soba noodles with curry sauce. It was delicious and very affordable!
Although more expensive than the street food options in the shopping district, the food at this restaurant is definitely worth trying. The dining experience is typical Japanese, but the menu is conveniently designed for English-speaking tourists. The back page includes a vegetarian menu, which should also cater to vegans.
