I recently tried this restaurant for the first time and ordered takeout of pork bulgogi. I have another favorite Korean restaurant in the OKC area that I love, so I will be comparing the two. Each restaurant has their own family recipes and cooking techniques, so I am keeping that in mind. The flavors at this restaurant were good, slightly spicier than my favorite place which I enjoyed, but lacking a bit of sweetness, resulting in a slightly less well-rounded flavor profile. The pork cuts were mostly good, with just a few bites that were not as enjoyable. The cooking method was good, though I prefer the higher heat and sear from my favorite restaurant. The banchan was decent: the potatoes were tasty with a good portion, the sprouts were flavorful, the pepper and tofu salad was too spicy for my liking, and the kimchi was okay, but not as flavorful as my favorite spot. The other restaurant includes two additional banchan options, including potatoes, sprouts, cabbage, zucchini, and kimchi in slightly smaller portions. I prefer the variety, although Dong A's sprouts were more enjoyable. The initial impression of the restaurant was friendly, with a clean dining area and polite staff. Unfortunately, I did not use the restroom so I cannot comment on its cleanliness. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant and plan to return to try other menu items. I would give it a 4 out of 5 rating, with a critical eye. Overall, a great score in my book!
The best Korean food in Moore! We absolutely adore the Kimchi pajun, Kimchi fried rice, and Yum so tang soup. The Kim-bab Korean rolls are also delicious!
This is a mom and pop restaurant and sometimes they get too busy to even clean up tables BUT besides the fact that they are working so hard, the food is amazing. You know the food is about to be amazing when you walk in and you get that whiff ofdeliciousness and you hear people slurping their food.
Variety of Korean food, chicken friends rice was good and meat dumplings were ????. I think rolls were surprisingly tasty too.
