Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThis place has a really cool mood. I just had my first visit to a rather quiet Thursday night, but the experience was unforgettable! We had really good drinks that our server Tyler recommended based on our preferences. The flavors were unique and well designed. We decided to get the 6 course tasting menu and add a bar snack (deviled Egg). My favorites were the cured yellow fin tuna over sticky rice, mushrooms and other things that it tastes smoke and earth with the right amount of acidity and the devil's egg! Also the pastry we had after Dessert was the best!!! (Something like a cream puff with half sweet chocolate and a crispy raspberry massage) All dishes were well balanced. The overall experience was whimsical with its use of gastronomic science as a theme to create textures and improve flavors. Very unique for the area. Annnd is extremely affordable at $39pp for 6 courses. Next time I have to try a drawing board. I can't wait to come back!
Bored? Lazy Night? Warmed up? Get your ass over the Holy Germaine, for so help me God this place will let you love life again. The dishes are fresh and innovative and they wear a damn good bartender to boot. Although not everything was well thought out on the menu and ends briefly, the execution makes it just good. On the other hand, dishes like the foie grass cotton candy and short ribs bone marrow burgers will rock. Socks. Use the option to try the menu. Portions is incredibly generous and almost make it difficult to try more than two or three appetizers, but the prices certainly won 't stop you.. For the quality and quantity of food you receive, the price sweeps the competition in luck at cost-ratio. I suppose the service was a bit slow because of the newer kitchen staff because of the newcomers in the kitchen, but I'm fucking when I'm having an incredible experience. To hell, my mother couldn't even complain about her birthday, we were displaced by our waitress friendliness and professional courtesy. 5/5, I am looking forward to my visit with what can only be described as giggling joy.
Whimsical and romantic atmosphere. Upscale Service. Creative and delicious cocktails. Everything is homemade! Much variety in meals, great execution.
I mean this place I can't say enough off. LGBT friendly. Superb staff! Great bartenders and excellent food. Mixology is real here! The prices are spot on for what is being ordered. Food is very fresh tasting with a variety of options to suite everyone needs bar ranges from mild to wild drinks! Love this spot!
If you should visit a restaurant in Norfolk, it is Saint Germain Downtown. The whole culinary experience was nothing I ever had. From entering the premise that would nail a vampire or club for me (always a restaurant with thoughtful interiors loved), to the innovative dishes the word 'experienced' appears in my head and the waiter who tended to serve us patiently over all elements on the plates/table. We received a sample of a bite-size crab on the house that we 're supposed to eat in a mouthful before we placed Torchon of Foie-Gras in a cotton band! For the main, we had crispy pig bell and Salmagundi, a chef selected from 5 Salumi and 5 sausages. We finished with a Pistachios-Limonz dessert and received what I can only imagine as an interpretation of an icey or Nordic landscape, with its 'ice mountains' and 'green moss'. Once again we received a sampler of a trio on a plate dessert (cookie, cake, chocolate nut). Unfortunately, I cannot repeat exactly all the ingredients that were on our dishes. Let's just call it a magic that's blown up here and there.
