The waiter then proceeded to bring over the wrong order and then never returned. Finally, after an hour of waiting we decided to leave. We informed the owner that we were unhappy with the wait and we had to be on our way. No apology, no explanation, just an “oh okay goodbye.” Listen, I understand busy service, I never expect excellence, but a customary “hey we’re busy there may be a wait, I apologize for the inconvenience, etc.” would have been completely fine.
