Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWhile traveling from Lincoln, NE to Colorado, we passed through Norton and stopped at a Casey's General Store for gas and to use the bathroom. The store appeared to be recently built as Google photos had not been updated since 2018. Despite the clean bathrooms and impressive coffee machines, the staff seemed overwhelmed and not very friendly. However, they efficiently took care of us and got us on our way. Overall, it was a nice stop during our journey. Thank you.
The restaurant frequently runs out of items that should always be in stock, and the coolers are consistently not fully stocked. The desired items are often visible in the back of the cooler through empty gaps. Despite a regular product being available for a week, it was not stored in the cooler. It seems like the staff may not be focused on their responsibilities, as they are frequently on their phones or taking smoke breaks. It is unclear if Norton Casey's has a manager, but if they do, they should be held accountable. A recent visit revealed that the coolers were still not stocked and the portion sizes were smaller than expected, despite the high prices. It is concerning that the store seems to lack proper management and is losing customers as a result. It is essential for this issue to be addressed promptly.
I am giving this restaurant two stars solely because of the decent gas prices. If it weren't for the urgent need to use the bathroom, I would have left immediately. The facilities were incredibly filthy and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There were dirty paper towels scattered on the floor, and the toilets, urinals, and sink were covered in grime. It was absolutely disgusting.
Tonight we met Jack! What a pleasant young man! There was a line, and he just seemed to appear out of nowhere, and quickly worked the line down, with a smile! When it was our turn, we picked a few scratchers out, and went to ring out, when I noticed, I actually had tickets, that were not what was showing on the dispenser! He told me no problem, and quickly went to retrieve the tickets from the back that I had wanted! I felt bad to turn around to a line behind me again, but, Jack was on it, with a smile on his face he never missed a beat! Even telling me good luck, on my way out the door!
This place is a train wreck. Came to our small town and we had high hopes? yep 2 years later 5 different GM, won?t take the time to train their new hires before throwing them to the wolves, hostile work environment and corporate keeps playing the same tune. With companies being run like this it?s no wonder the can?t retain any employees. Why even bother going in there they don?t want to stock other brands of merchandise but their in house stuff is never made. Don?t count on them having a singe sandwich in the store if your trying to get something for your lunch spend you money elsewhere
