Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe came because of Stronghold’s renaissance fair and stayed in town. Our hotel was right next door to Maxson’s. I will say the employees are delightful very friendly and you can tell they treat everyone as family. Mrs Nancy personally comes up to your table and chats like she has known you forever and makes you feel at home. You cannot beat their view I feel like no season would be bad. My daughter ordered the kids chicken tenders and said they were great my son ate 1/2 the hamburger off the kids menu and was full (really wanting to race to dessert) their fries were definitely on point! I unfortunately had their chicken bruschetta I didn’t eat 1/2, my chicken itself was a little burnt and the tomatoes had a funky taste. I also had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing two other diners send food back and that their food was over cooked. I heard a waitress apologize and say that their main chef was at Stronghold working a booth, so maybe that could be the reason for my plate. I don’t think it would be first choice to come back but then again with their main chef back in the kitchen you never know.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of dining at Maxson Restaurant, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. This charming establishment has truly won my heart with its exceptional food, warm ambiance, and impeccable service. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a friendly smile and made to feel like a valued guest. The restaurant's cozy and inviting atmosphere immediately set the stage for a memorable evening. The dimmed lighting, tasteful decor, and soft music created a soothing backdrop for the culinary journey that awaited us. The menu at Maxson Restaurant is a culinary masterpiece. It offers a delightful array of dishes that cater to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're a fan of seafood, meat, or vegetarian options, you'll find something to delight your palate. The chef's attention to detail is evident in each dish's presentation and flavors. Every bite was a harmonious blend of fresh ingredients and expertly balanced seasonings. One of the standout dishes was the seared sea bass with a citrus glaze. It was cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin that gave way to tender, flaky fish that practically melted in my mouth. The combination of flavors was a true delight, and it's a dish I won't soon forget. The wine selection at Maxson Restaurant is equally impressive. The sommelier's recommendations perfectly complemented our meal, enhancing the overall dining experience. The attentive and knowledgeable staff made sure our glasses were never empty and provided insights into each wine's unique character. What truly sets Maxson Restaurant apart is its exceptional service. The staff's professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm for making our evening special were remarkable. They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and ensure we had a seamless dining experience. To top it all off, the dessert selection was a sweet symphony of flavors. The chocolate lava cake and the raspberry cheesecake were heavenly, providing a perfect ending to our memorable meal. In conclusion, Maxson Restaurant is a hidden culinary gem that deserves every accolade. It's a place where food is not just sustenance but an art form. The combination of exceptional cuisine, a warm atmosphere, and top-notch service make it a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in an extraordinary dining experience. I can't wait to return to Maxson Restaurant and savor their culinary creations once again. It's an experience that lingers in the memory long after the meal is over.
My husband really enjoyed the German buffet . I was unfortunate to order the ravioli , it was inedible . Covered in a marzipan type sauce neither of us could bear it . The waitress collected our dishes and it was very clear I had not eaten any of my meal apart from the vegetables. She passed no remark , didn't ask if we wanted anything else desserts etc just rushed the cheque to us as quickly as possible probably before I could explain about the meal. I over heard another waitress say that the ravioli was a very specific taste . I would have appreciated the same heads up .
