Unfortunately now the food I had was very poor, tasting old and bland. The cocktails were ok. The only saving grace was the service was still on the friendly side. Disappointing from a place I used to live.
Mexican restaurant with a nice interior and a patio. The tacos, especially the chorizo are amazing. Almost as good as in México. They also make great drinks and cocktails. The price for 2 tacos is 99 kr. So i prefer this place for lunch as dinner can become very pricy.
This restaurant have an amazing back garden providing the perfect atmosphere for any occasion. Great cocktails and food, and excellent service.
Tijuana, in Oslos cool neighbourhood of Grünerløkka, has a variety of Mexican dishes in the medium price-segment when it comes to (but not expensive compared to other places in the same area). Fast service, a rich variety of beers and drinks and nice food. Be aware that the dishes is somewhat small, so make sure you ask your waiter for tips on how to build your menu.
I really wanted to visit this place as I'm a taco lover and they have a really nice backyard. But I'm afraid Tijuana didn't meet my expectations at all. The service was kind of friendly, but slow, and we had to wait for what felt like a really long time just to get our beers. I don't know where to start when it comes to the food. I went for the Barbacoa, which should have been long roasted lamb. Well, it tasted sour and more as an old sheep. I couldn't eat more than a bite, and ended up eating the tortilla chips instead. Trying to get the bill took an eternity as well; after trying to get the waiters attention for 15 minutes, we ended up waiting in the bar for 10 minutes instead. Having your customers wait for 25 minutes to settle the bill is way too long. If you are dying to visit this place: Have a beer and tortilla chips in the sun, but don't expect too much of the other food. And stay away from the Barbacoa.
