I really like that! it was easy, fresh and good! very good service. we had the fish we shared between us 2 with a beautiful wine bottle:
I arrived in Porto hungry and with the desire to eat fresh fish. So I found a restaurant situated right on the beach in Porto. From the entrance I was welcomed by the most hospitable young lady I had the chance to find in all...the restaurant i ever eat. Knowing 3 foreign languages has made it even easier for us to choose the menu. He recommended our chef's specialties and fresh fish. It was the best choice. In this way, we are deeply grateful. We recommend all lovers of a good fish and impeccable service. Thanks, it was an excellent evening :
We were looking for fresh fish. To the question what fish you have we get answer to sit by the table and they show us. Then they bring fish I asked when they catch it, because some of fish looked not very fresh... the answer...was go to another restaurant if you do not like my fish... it was too late so we stayed and choose two scorpion fish that looked best. Wine was poor (wine list from 2 white vines : In generaly service was terrible and price was very high for such simple restaurant and service! Never again!!!
The fish at Pescadore was very nice, we both really enjoyed it! They showed us the Langouste before preparing it, which was very good. Service was friendly, except our waitress couldn't or wouldn't speak English (not even a little) which gave us some embarrassing moments....The male waiter was much more helpful. If you love fish, it's a good recommendation. But don't come too early, because the place is then swamped by families with kids (who in our case weren't very properly raised).
